NO one talks much about it, it gets swept under the rug as these people are poor and get caught up through no fault of their own.
There are those who keep track of these events however and it reinforces their opinion of Israel.
It's a shame that so many are innocent, have little money to leave or just want to stay where they have some family. Most are just working to make ends meet, not many think about these simple people in more than just a passing thought.
They seem to be expendable but they are just like anyone else anywhere and have the same rights.
The poor world opinion isn't because of religion, no one cares too much how individuals decide to praise their god.
It's the human rights violations, bringing terror into ordinary palestinian citizens who have done nothing except being Palenstinian and in the wrong place. Just this alone should appeal to the Israeli leaders as a reason to stop, they will not stop and they will expand slowly but continually.

The human rights of these people will continue to be violated until someone stops it.

Electing a terrorist group to govern them might be part of the problem.

They could be realistic and recognise Israel.

Yes. Not recognizing a government is retarded unless the existence of that government as a controlling institution is legitimately in question. The Israeli government clearly is the governing body of Israel, so it should be recognized. Just because a nation recognizes another doesn't mean that it agrees with its actions. Not recognizing a legitimate governing body just impedes communication and prevents disagreements from being settled.

The government clearly exists. It's not in question. Recognition is different than agreement. What's fucked up is that the two sides won't even talk to each other. More of the same won't solve the problem.

Since the 1967 war it is estimated that at least as many Jews were driven out of Arab lands as there are Palestinian refugees today. This may not be so obvious, because most of these Jews have dispersed around the world and made new lives.

Nevertheless, for the estimated 800,000 Jews that were thrown out of Arab countries, what might be your solution for rectifying the injustice?

The same country who had that weapon for 40 years, gone through several wars and never once used it, or threatned to use it.

BTW, this is the latest from Gaza, they aren't happy Abu Mazen has agreed to the talk. These guys truly want peace, don't they?

Hamas warns PA before peace talks
Gaza's leaders say they will 'step on heads of those who dare cede right of return, Jerusalem' to Israel

Hamas warned the Palestinian Authority Saturday, ahead of scheduled peace talks with Israel, that "the Izz-a-Din al-Qassam Brigades will step on the heads of those who dare cede the right of return, Jerusalem, and Palestine".

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya called for an uprising against the negotiations, scheduled to begin in Washington September 3, and against the delegation to attend them from Ramallah.

He said the talks were an excuse for the Palestinian government to allow Israel "to wipe out the Palestinian issue, continue Judaizing (sic) Jerusalem, continue building settlements, and erase the Palestinian right of return".

"Abbas and his negotiating team do not represent Palestine, Jerusalem, the refugees, or al-Aqsa, and we will not recognize any agreement signed by the Zionist enemy," al-Hayya said.

"Hamas continues to grow stronger and prepare for the final battle until your banishment from Palestine. Your existence is on its way to disappearing," he said in a monologue aimed at Israel.

Another Hamas leader, Salah al-Bardawil, also condemned the Palestinian Authority earlier and said it was waging a battle against the mosques in Gaza. He said Hamas was considering how to "press organizations cooperating with Israel in order to stop their cruelty and insolence towards the Palestinian people".

4 Israelis killed in shooting attack
Initial report: At least four Israelis murdered in West Bank shooting attack Tuesday evening ahead of resumption of peace talks in Washington; security forces, rescue services rush to scene of attack in Gush Etzion area

Lethal terror attack on eve of peace talks: Four Israelis were murdered in a shooting attack in the Hebron region Tuesday night.

At least some of the victims are members of the same family. Ambulance service officials said the victims include two men aged about 25 and 40, as well as two women of roughly the same ages, one of them pregnant.

According to initial reports, an Israeli vehicle traveling in the area came under fire directed at it from a passing vehicle at the Bani Naim junction on Highway 60, between Hebron and Kiryat Arba.

More than one terrorist apparently took part in the attack, which security officials said was a well-planned ambush. Channel Two said

the attackers apparently confirmed the death of the Israeli victims before fleeing the scene.

"The vehicle was sprayed with dozens of bullets," a paramedic at the scene told Channel Two. "There were numerous shell casings around. We found four bodies and there was no chance whatsoever to help them; all we could do was to pronounce the death of these four Jews."

IDF security forces were scouring the area for suspects. Notably, the army had been on high alert ahead of the resumption of peace talks in Washington.

'Message to negotiators'
Palestinian security forces were also informed of the attack, which took place just as the Ramadan fast was ending, and are looking into the incident. A Palestinian security official said that a Hamas cell is believed to be behind the lethal attacks. He noted that the last attack in the Hebron region, which left an Israeli police officer killed, was also the work of Hamas.

Meanwhile, the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) told Ynet Tuesday's shooting attack was a message to the Palestinian negotiating team ahead of the resumption of direct talks with Israel.

"They should not have embarked on this move without the support of the Palestinian people," PRC Spokesman Abu Mujahid said. "Our people still espouse the resistance and do not believe in the fictitious talks scheduled to commence tomorrow. "

Following the attack, security forces across the nation were ordered to go on the highest alert ahead of the possibility of further attacks.

Ronen Medzini, Ari Galahar, Raanan Ben-Zur, and Ali Waked contributed to the report

So, remind me the point in talking with the PA, if they are so weak and powerless they can't even control things that happen near the west bank?
What good will any agreements in the talks bring Israel or the Palestinians? I mean, we can agree on things with PA all day long, but if Hammas decide they won't accept it, and continue to shoot on civilians, send rockets, etc etc - those agreements are worth nothing.

Israel, no matter how divided, has government. If the government decides Israel need to pull out the settlements, it would enforce that desicion. If PA decides that in exchange, they will no longer hurt Israeli civilians - that agreement is worthless. That Hammas will do as they please, hurt civilians, Israel would respond, and then we'd be blamed of blockade, crimes against humanity, cruel and unfair treatment, etc etc.
