I can't resist playing a gnome monk and having the cool hat. Plus the roll and fists of fury he can unleash, too funny for me to skip.
I do agree that the quality of the game is not as good as it used to be, but new class mechanics should keep one busy for a while. The cross-realm zoning is also bringing some fun world pvp back if you're into it like me.
I started playing in early 2005 before pvp ranks, battle grounds, when people just murdered each other for the hell of it and battles between south shore and tarren mill were fucking epic, so was ganking in black rock mountain when people were still doing MC attunement quests. Game was amazing in vanilla. TBC was amazing expac. It's only since WoTLK has this game started turning into epic fail - especially when they introduced Deathknights and made them god mode to draw noobs into the game and started catering to casuals. Every Blizzard's attempt to fix the game since then whether it's letting noobs get easy purples, their weak outdoor PvP attempt aka Wintergrasp were all a big fiasco. Hell, on my server daily quests zones see more pvp than the so called pvp areas.
Blizzard sold out and is now all about money IMO. Diablow 3 only further confirms it. I will keep an eye on the game to see if they fix it, but for now I am not buying another game card.
