Yep, got it a few days ago. My laptop isn't quite good enough for it, though. Bought a new PC from Overclockers, so I'm waiting for that to arrive.

There's a VT4 coming out? VT 2009 was a massive letdown. I was a VT3 addict and the sequel just turned me off completely.

What didn't you like about VT3?

Saw a video of it. Looks a bit like GS Tenni for the Wii, which I enjoyed. Hoping the Move is a bit more reliable, though.

VT3's volleying mechanic was lame and they gimped the slice.

Move is far more precise in the movements and theres a camera to track your body movements. Should be better..

Re: The Gaming Thread.

I've always felt VT was too arcade-y with players diving and stuff. I stopped at VT 3. Been a big TS guy ever since.

I wish they'd hit the ball harder in TS though. Volleys and lobs too are still a joke.

Its meant to be an arcade game.

TS3 tries to be realistic and fails miserably.

Lucky for you they'll probably stop at TS3. No new updates on TS4, and apparently the developer has been closed down.

What's the best tennis game you've played?

Re: The Gaming Thread.

I remember that game. Good times on the dreamcast. Let me guess, you used Haas a lot? Rafter was my player.

Re: The Gaming Thread.

Yeah Haas was my player obviously. If I felt like some S&V I used Rafter. His serve was epic in the game and his volleys compared to the other players was night and day.

VT3 for me.

Easy to learn, very difficult to master. So much more depth than is immediately apparent.

Good. Certainly better than Civ 4. It's a little faster and more accessible.
