How many pull-ups can you do?

I can do 5 tops. I know it's lame but just a few months ago I wasn't able to do any!

My goal is to be able to do 12.

How about you?

Wow man thanks for cheering me up.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

no prob... it's also my goal to cheer ppl up with my never ending pull-ups stories you see, it's too embarrassing for me to discuss this topic in real life so i have to bring it to da internet with the hope that it won't be that embarrassing here.

Re: How many pull-ups can you do?

hehe I get you. but why is that? I mean are you otherwise very unfit? Cause being able to do only 5 pull-ups is rather... poor.

Re: How many pull-ups can you do?

too much crap food, alcohol and cigs. Plus almost no excercise at all.

I'm aware I'm unfit and that's the reason I want to improve my physical shape... I think I have a very weak back. Just 4 months ago I wasn't even able to do one pull-up so I think I must be doing right lately. I'm going to the gym 3 times a week.

Keep it up then. And for the love of all that's worthy, quit smoking...

Re: How many pull-ups can you do?

I used to do 100 in a row back when I was hitting the gym regularly... no big deal though once trained...

I also used to do 30 (complete) chin-ups in a row, and that is imo more impressive than doing 100 pull-ups

About 1.

Edit: I was thinking about something different. Still only 1 though.

Re: How many pull-ups can you do?

About 50-70 I guess. But I do 5 series of 30 per session (when I do train)
