Fair play to Woods for conceding the hole, I believe that was the first halved match of the whole cup.

Welled up a bit for Olazabal though . Seve was/is so important for him.

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

Some truly epic choking. The US team earned it in 1999 and just threw it away in 2012. Like I said, they played not to lose today and looked like a team that was looking for a way to.

Davis Love III needs to be set straight on a few things. Furyk was always a terrible pick. Terrible captain.

Big congrats to European team though. They earned it big time with some huge help. US team didn't face the booing it should have.

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

One of the most incredible and intense sport moments I'ever witnessed, this day of Ryder Cup golf. Ian Poulter is the big man of the contest, scoring 5 Out of 5. Also a special role for McIlroy and Rose (what play on that last 2 holes). Great finish from Kaymer and let's not forget Colsaerts debut on friday.
But Ian Poulter is just a boss

And Martin Kaymer is der Mann. That putt was about whether Europe wins or not. And he had balls of steel and made it.

Steve Stricker and Jim Furyk will take a long time to recover from this.

Yeah, but Poulter did it over and over again for 5 contests. Kaymer won only one, but with what a shot of course

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

euros picked up where poulter left off yesterday. the dude’s a madman and his emotional spark gave the euros a much needed lift heading into singles.

epic collapse for america and a role reversal for love and ollie in brookline. stricker, woods, and jim 'i collapse down the stretch' furyk blew it. i hope tiger is cursed and never surpasses jack's 18.

Tiger asked to play last. He must have had dreams of being the big hero, coming to the 18th with the Ryder Cup on his putter. Nearly happened.

Keegan Bradley plays golf like Sheldon from Big Bang.
