It is actually last 15 majors have been won by 15 different players.

Harrington won the 08 PGA and 08 Open.

Sad to see Adam Scott losing his lead. Anyway, congrats to Ernie.

Great triumph for Ernie ten years on, it had been too long since he last won a major.

I think being rejected by Augusta gave him new life.

I didn't even see that for Vijay. Congrats to him. He hasn't featured in a very long time.

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

Vijay is 49 now so his best is well past him

thats what Ernie wants more than anything - that green jacket, hope he does it next year

and beat Mickelson to that 5th Major

I was hoping for the best for Ernie but three back with what, 4 holes to play? It was looking bleek but when Ernie made that putt on 18 it looked like destiny

Another Game for Milos

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

Happy for Ernie but sad to see Scott choke away the lead like that, would've liked to have seen a playoff. Scott made some poor choices at the end, why on Earth did he hit the 3-wood in the 18th?

After Nadal beat Monfils at Doha, before AO 2014

Only Del Potro can take him out before the semis, and he won't. Nadal is winning the AO, bet your house on it.
Somewhere out there, there is a homeless person who once took betting advice from GSMnadal

Agreed

and why didnt he drive the 16th? he'd have been up around the green, even a wayward drive he could never have made worse than par from around the green

just shows what nerves can do, Els was the one who came out of the pack to put the pressure on him, classic big Ernie, what he's always been brilliant at doing

rest of them including Tiger just showed what weak dogs they are, one mistake after another - which is what most Sundays at majors are like thesedays sadly.

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

Canadian Open this week, my favorite tournament next to the majors. 23 Canadians in the field. I was away for the tournament last year so I hope a Canadian can make a run like Hadwin did last year when I missed it.
