I took my champagne out of the fridge when Rory missed the cut. Now it's back in again.

Sorta the beauty of it.

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

Tiger had one of his worst career days given the context of the situation. Very surprising. Nothing really worked for him, he hit fairways pretty consistently, but his approach shots to the green and his putting was unbelievably poor. He's gotta have a big day and hope for help.

Furyk deserves this after the consistency he's shown.

Haha. Well he's from North Carolina, so it's not a surprise.

Congrats to Simpson.

A fair few people don't like him, so particular reasons.

WTF was up with that guy doing bird calls? They didn't know what he was about the second he showed up?

And yes, it seems like all the U.S. golfers these days are only about Christ and hot wives.

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

props to that guy, to shoot 68-68 on the weekend on course like that deserves what it gets

but Furyk and G-Mac really melted, especially Jim

just seems like most Sundays at majors are like this now, players fading with choke shots under pressure

Westwood ball got stuck up a tree on the 5th and that was adios to his chances

Re: Golf 2012 - Waiting for Augusta

the us open is just brutal, borderline sadistic. no doubt the usga was out for revenge after the 16-under mockery mcilroy made out of congressional.

disappointing to see furyk fold like a cheap suit down the stretch.

congrats to webb on a spectacular weekend. that makes it nine consecutive first-time major winners, and counting....

Nine? Didn't Mickelson win the Masters 2 years ago?

Last 17 majors have been won by 17 different players.
