Favourite Heavy Metal Music Thread

There are so many sub genres of heavy metal and a lot of the time it's misunderstood by media, general populace and yes even metal fans.

One of the originals to kick this thread off and yes it's still good.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

The final 30 seconds or so of this song has, I think, the greatest guitar solo of all time.

Ozzy, the king.

Axl Rose is a clown and I didn't like these guys, but respect to this song.

Favorite song off my all time favorite album, Blackwater Park.

This band took death metal brought new heights of creativity in 2009

And a great song from what I consider the second best album of the 00's, Serpent's Kiss from Symphony X

The first heavy metal show I went.... I was 14, was Angra, a melodic power metal band from Brazil, very famous.
Ok, they are melodic, but I think this song is very good composed, energetic and I like the message too.

Bathory, one of the pioneers of black and viking metal. Very clear vocals as well.

The legend of Sergio Roitman is a big fan of these guys, we always knew Escopeta was cool.

Re: Favourite Heavy Metal Music Thread

Angra are definitely a good band, great guitar players

Power metal in general is not my thing, but I like a few bands Angra, Stratovarius, Dream Evil (), Wintersun & old Children of Bodom if you are willing to count this kind of PM with harsh vocals. Some more also but not the majority

For me the my first heavier show I went to was a metalcore show, I think Killswitch Engage when I was 13

Still love this album though after they changed vocalists they've been releasing boring music,
