What makes a good poster?

Looking at all the different personalities involved in the Popularity Contest I started wondering what it takes to be a successful and popular poster. Obviously there should be enough posts for people to recognize you, but do the leaders have anything else in common?

There is no rhyme or reason to being a popular poster. MTF changes with the weather So all of the above poll choices would make it

The great thing about democracy is that it gives every voter a chance to do something stupid.

Re: What makes a good poster?

Being awfully nice and sending a lot of good reps should be one of the options.

Bad gambler last year made the semifinal despite he practically doesn't post besides the gamblers' lounge (he did in the past but younger posters don't remember these times) - but he is known for having billions of v-cash
. So having cash also helps.

Besides, MTF likes to stick labels. I am known of sense of humour and no one gives a shit about my work in the challenger forum and introducing unknown player to the community, while Voo de Mar has a label "Mr Statistics" and it is quite hurting as well since he interacts, communicates and is always respectful to everyone - but people don't see it at all.

I voted 1,2,3,5 and 9. But I think the most important of them all is the number 3

Being interesting, obviously. If you want a laugh, have a drink with your mates. If you want to see a nice arse, fuck your girlfriend or watch some porn.

Re: What makes a good poster?

I think bringing some life, crazyness, "adventure" is appreciated ... and also sympathy.

As for that competition there's also clearly an impact of "being ancient", which is quite normal.

I feel it's the most important points : we are in a place of life for rather young people, not a place to be too serious

(I don't say that's what I'm looking for personally -which is actually the way I answered your poll in the beginning actually- but I think your question requests a wider answer )
