It's a short story. It is ok but not a patch on the film imo. I love that film.

Well, in some ways. But they were different kind of, and yet equally good.
One of the few cases when the film has as much influence as the book, even though they're not the same.

hm guess I'm gonna read it soon, me loves it too, guess it's among my top3 movies, in tough fight with Apocalypse Now for the top spot
