It's one of the only movies that does make me cry.. and I cry like a baby EVERY time

I remember they put it on the TV on a long bus trip to Brisbane some years back when I was travelling with my dad and even HE started crying - I'd never imagined my dad crying at a movie until then

Re: Best Movies from 2000-2009

I love "Memento" by Christopher Nolan too, and it is my favorite movie of the decade too, as many have already stated.

Two of my favorite movies that haven't been mentioned yet ended up being from 1999.

I'm going to post these two nonetheless because they we're so close to being in this decade and had such an impact, and both feature some of the best trailers I've ever seen.

Being John Malkovich (1999)

Blair Witch project (1999)

Nalby: 2010 Legg Mason ATP 500 Champion (Welcome back!! )
Nole: 2009 Paris Bercy Masters & 2010 Dubai ATP500 Champion
Soderking: 2010 ABN AMRO Rotterdam ATP500 Champion
Baggy: 2010 Sydney Champion
Gulbis: 2010 Delray Beach Champion
Del Pony: 2009 U.S. Open Champion (Please come back! )

being john malkovich transcends through boundaries. great film like this wouldn't be made in this decade, also 1999 produced most of my favourite films. anyways keeping on subject.. some of the films that i did enjoy from 2000 onwards that haven't been listed yet.

thank you for smoking (dark comedy very unique storyline)

little miss sunshine (another dark comedy and new take family orientation)

stranger than fiction (very quirky)

city of god (drama/gangster film)

requiem for a dream (drama, some scenes are very disturbing and this trailer doesn't do it justice)

I loved Little Miss Sunshine. Abigail Breslin was very convincing. That "am I pretty?" scene is quite something.

Oops I did say that I loved every film Steve Carell was in but I didn't actually list this one... it was another of my favourites though - and very unique... the dance at the end has me in stitches

Downfall, Memento, Babel, 21 Grams, and for something little known & very nasty, My Little Eye.
