Inch by inch, one of the best goalkeepers that I've ever seen playing in Benfica. Given his talent, he deserved a much better career as a player...
And he seemed to be a great man as well. I remember an interview he gave to a TV channel here in Portugal, where he was asked why he preferred to have stray dogs at home. He said they were quite docile and that he just couldn't see them abandoned in the streets without doing nothing... A good man, hope he finds some peace along with his daughter.
