Well, he won the big one, credit to him, although I still don't see the point in having mass start for the longest distance.

Yeah mass start for the 50km, not sure.

Northug is amazing though, what a finish, how he can have the energy to go in sprint mode after 50km is beyond me.

Unfortunate fall on the final straight but things happen. I'm glad he got at least one gold medal. He's still young.

When I said "it hurts" I meant "for him"

The mass start rules in the 50km, there would be riots in Norway if they stopped that.

He is still a bit of whiny bitch though and I am surprised he actually took the lead a few kms out. The other guys should know they have to change the pace and go a bit earlier and ski the kick out of him.

Agreed, he should have been in Torino, but lets see him defend the title in 2011 in Oslo.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

He had a couple of rocks that did not end up where he wanted, some because of sweeping calls. He was forced to take one in the 2nd end. Playing 78% is not bad, just below his overall numbers for the week.
Thanks, that explains why the score was so low in the fourth end.

Re: Winter Olympics Thread! - Schedule in OP!

Thank you Vancouver for all the great entertainment these past 2 weeks, showing once again that sport indeed is the best thing on TV because it doesn't have a script! Unless it's a tennis match featuring Davydenko.
Also, truly terrific job, team Sweden!

Looking forward to the next Winter Olympics already!
