Not sure if that question was aimed at me after I left the thread last night Tori - but I'll answer it anyway My favourite type of food is Italian - so anything such as veggie lasagne or a pasta dish with mushrooms, tomatoes, herbs, and fresh veg etc would be my food of choice.

I agree with tennizen about the Indian restaurant options - though I don't like anything too hot, so I have to be pretty careful with them.

I actually like eating salads too which many think is strange

Oh - and miss you too

Can't argue with that

You said you don't want to have meat because you never tried it and therefore don't know what it's like.

I was wondering if you had the same views on sex.

In my view regular sex== vegetarian food
threesome== meat

I am perfectly content with the first one

I'm vegetarian too, glad we're not an ostracized group here.

You do if they're vegetarians as well and you're a good cook.

I was merely saying "zzzzzzz" because usually those videos depict outside of the norm and show the most gruesome one, but either way, it isn't like the regular way of slaughtering animals was ever glorified to seem clean and easy like slicing a loaf of bread.

I respect vegetarians, but personally I just dislike those who claim humans were never allowed to eat meat in the first place or whatever the case is. Wonder how their ancestors survive many, many centuries ago Plus why would some things created on Earth taste good while others don't? Obviously to distinguinsh what is edible and not and what is good for you and what is not.

Well if you're not phased much by it then you have every right to be a carnivore.

To me, the thing that bothers me most isn't people actually eating meat, it's the hypocrisy about it.
In my view, if you can actually go out and kill yourself an animal, skin it, cut it, cook it - you have every right in the world to eat it.

If, however, you practically faint at the sight of blood and have never actually seen an animal being killed in front of you, then you're a hypocrite for eating meat while avoiding to recognize what being a carnivore really represents.

Re: World Vegetarian Day

If I was standed on a desert island and starving and there was some animal there and it was them or me then hell yeah I'd eat it. However we are fortunate to be able to discriminate and choose what we eat. Our bodys allow us to be omni or even just veggie. What I can't justify is animal suffering so I can eat for example chicken. A friend of mine lives on a farm and her animals have a fab life and if I could have afforded organic meat like that I probably would never have become veggie. But I can't so I'm veggie and now I'd never go back. I can't stand animal suffering and this way I'm not causing it.That is a personal choice of mine that I have made.
