There definetly are such things as summer hip hop songs as opposed to colder weather raps. I have always considered Illmatic to be a coldweather album. Nothing like listening to it with a hoodie on in sub freezing weather. When summer comes around I tend to listen to some songs with more reggae flair to them.
Kei Nishikori, Donald Young, Somdev Devvarman, Dustin Brown, Steve Johnson, Yannick Maden
Robert Farah, Clement Reix, Alexander Dolgopolov, Nathan Thompson
Don't like making massive claims to often, but this song defintely warrants it. Hip-hop song of the year so far:
It's sort of a shame that DJ Khaled is in the title but you can't hate on the man for putting this classic in motion. It's the kind of track that requires multiple listens before you can truly comprehend it's greatness and the intelligence behind it. Perfect mix of rappers as well. You have Scarface starting off and you can just hear the raw emotion he is spitting and then Nas rips in with one of his best verses in years. One of those true classic hip hop tracks that comes along way to rarely these days.
Like Khaled exclaims at the beginning and end, this shit's special...
