Odds have been laid for the unborn child of Roger Federer and Mirka Vavrinec to be named Rafael in honor of the Swiss player's hottest rival in tennis.
Ladbroke's of London offers a bet of 200/1 (201.00) on that chance. But golf fans are also in luck, with Tiger - as in Federer mate Woods - on the cards for 66/1 (67.00).
But it's Wimbledon where the most interest lies. The gambling house is already lined up a bet on the as-yet-unborn infant's chances of following in father's footsteps by lifting the All-England Club crown by 2035. That bet is offered at 200/1 (201.00).
"If Federer junior is half as good as Federer senior we'll be running for cover," said spokesman for the London betting house. Federer and his longtime partner are 4/5 (1.80) to get married this year and 6/4 (2.50) to wait until 2010.
Punters can also wager on such odd combinations as the sex, and the name of the baby. So far, Martina leads the punting at 6/1 (7.00) while Venus is a long-odds 100/1 (101.00).
