In the spotlight - jayjay

Happy birthday!

1) Ideally, what would you like to be doing this weekend?
2) What topics do you become emotionally involved in as soon as you start to discuss them?
3) How do you look back upon the Argentinian Sexiness Contest? Anything you would have liked to change about your campaign?
4) What's been the proudest moment of your life so far?
5) How many appreciative comments did each avatar of yours get in the past?
6) How would you define your 'online attitude' generally, particularly to forums? How different are you in real life?

- Have you recovered from your porn addiction yet?

- Do you think you'd be richer today if you had never backed any Argie team or sportspeople at all in the past? Be honest.

- Brazil or Chile?

- Batistuta or Caniggia?

- Coria or Nalbandian?

I'd like to be in Washington with my GF who I haven't seen since March. Yes, we'd probably spend the entire weekend arguing, but we can handle it.

2) What topics do you become emotionally involved in as soon as you start to discuss them?
Topics that usually revolve around sport. I'm so fed up with the rest of the world and what's in it that I find it hard to care too much about political issues. Lately, I haven't been caring much about sport, either. I feel this is a sign of my growing maturity or a deepening of my chronic depression.

3) How do you look back upon the Argentinian Sexiness Contest? Anything you would have liked to change about your campaign?
It was a fun couple of weeks and many jokes were had.

What would I change about my campaign? My appearance.

Quote:
4) What's been the proudest moment of your life so far?
The publication of my article on Lionel Messi and Carlos Tevez. The one article I wanted to write, and eventually last December it went to print.

Quote:
5) How many appreciative comments did each avatar of yours get in the past?
More than the amount of posts Adee-Gee has and ended up being the reason I no longer have an avatar. As much as I appreciated the interest, it became overwhelming and I had to resort to posting names/locations/links of said feature avatars in my sig to stem the tide of PMs.

6) How would you define your 'online attitude' generally, particularly to forums? How different are you in real life?
I'd say my online attitude is as honest as I can be, I'm not trying to be someone I'm not.

I'm funnier in real life than online, believe it or not. I'm also far less arrogant and obnoxious in reality than I can come across online. I'm as demonstrative and emotional in reality as I am online.

Yes, we got engaged in March.

I've got nothing else to do, most of the time.

2) How did you feel when Adam beat you in that contest this year?
Beating me in any fantasy game is no mean feat, Adee deserved the win and Luca Toni deserved a slap in the face (twice).

Quote:
3) Are you still into The Go! Team?
Haven't heard anything recently, but am still very much a fan of "Junior Kickstart" and a few of their other tracks off that particular album.

4) Is the ass the first thing you see in a girl?
It depends if they have their back to me or not.

If you've been blessed in that department to a greater level than myself it's not something I can be mad about. I just have to accept it and know that I have a better personality.

No.

Not enough bad things can happen to him.

Without question. Only God can stop him and I don't think Fiona Apple has any interest in the World Cup.

I don't see why not.

No.

Porn is not something to recover from, it's something to enjoy and pass the time online.

Yes, very much so, because I ruined my life in 2002 and that one moment took me years to recover from mentally and financially.

Brazil has great asses, Shotgun and GlennMirnyi. So without a doubt - Brazil.

Batistuta, not even close.

Coria.

My background is a mixture of Argentine/Persian and I've spent nearly all my life in England.

Yes.

I'm not someone who cares deeply about such issues. I prefer people don't die in pointless wars.

some follow-up questions:

you don't believe any of the current argentines on tour are going to claim the top spot, are you? but if so, who do you think it will be?

the persian heritage is interesting. may i ask where your ancestors came from? iran? syria? lebanon?
and did you keep anything from them, like mother tongue, habits etc.?

I believe Del Potro will be number one at some point, even if it's just for a week. My son to be could also be number one if he wanted, but his future has already been decided and he'll be wearing the "10" for Argentina at the 2030 World Cup.

My mother has Iranian blood.

Due to living in England most of my life and having been estranged from both sides of my family for various reasons, I can speak Spanish and Persian very, very poorly but am often far too embarassed to do so as I think I sound like an English person trying to speak Spanish/Persian and to me it sounds horrible.

Luckily for me, last time I was in Argentina (2006) my cousin took care of everything for me and I'm never going to go to Iran ever again (I was last there when I was 10, I'm 28 today) so I don't have to worry about that.

I plan on improving my Spanish to an acceptable level, at some point, but the honest truth is that I'm too lazy to take the time to do so although I really should as it would help me in the industries I'm in quite significantly.
