Re: Last concert you visited...

February 2008: Explosions in the Sky, and the following week I saw Interpol who were amazing, but did not really do anything but stand there and sing. [But, damn, they did it so well]. Well worth the money. Now I'm just passing the time until Placebo and AFI put out new material and visit us again =)

Re: Last concert you visited...

I went to some random NME event at uni in October.....last time I went to a proper offical gig.

Last real well-known artist I saw was Nelly Furtado in Nottingham - really great performance.

I saw the swedish band Kent a few months ago in my home town. I wasn't a big fan before the gig, but I definitely am now!

yeah, despite their age they still make awesome performances. I didn't even had a seat when I went to that concert,
I was on the field, with the center stage right in front of me, the first 10 mins were to be exhausted, pushing forward then being pushed to the back, jumping, screaming, being pushed again. It was crazy

Re: Last concert you visited...

The last concert I visited was a classical concert. They did three pieces of Schubert. It was pretty good.
The next concert will probably be Händel's Messiah.

Just saw La Traviata... my first time seeing live opera. You Italians make the most beautiful things.

Re: Last concert you visited...

What a co-incidence. I just came to post:

LA TRAVIATA AT THE MET

Did you see it at the Met? Wasn't the scenery for the Spanish ball a knockout?

Re: Last concert you visited...

My performance was done by LSU students ... just a level below the Met imo.
