Top 10 Films in 2007

I noticed there was no top 10 film list for 2007 here in the MTF. I was curious what films the posters here viewed were the best of 2007. Here are mine, in no particular order:

1. 3:10 to Yuma
2. Sweeney Todd
3. No Country for Old Men
4. Michael Clayton
5. The Host
6. Beowulf (in 3-D)
7. There Will be Blood
8. Rescue Dawn
9. Eastern Promises
10. Transformers

Thanks for the gutsy run, Phillies!!! World Series Champs...2010!!!

Re: Top 10 Films in 2007

I only saw a few movies last year.

1. The Bourne Ultimatum
2. Casino Royale
3. Hannibal Rising

But I liked what I saw.

I'm ashamed that I still haven't seen:

Die Hard 4
Spiderman 3
Shrek 3
300
The Simpsons Movie
Transformers

Was Casino Royale 2007? If so, that should've been in my top 10 too.

Re: Top 10 Films in 2007

My favourite was Halloween although I prefer the original. Disturbia I thought was really fun, but no classics in 2007. They don't make great films these days.

Rocky Balboa was also in 2006 (in America anyway)....It'd be tough for me to make a list, but I know that Eastern Promises and No Country For Old Men would be #1 and #2.

Re: Top 10 Films in 2007

Didn't see many last year, but the Bourne Ultimatum was my favourite out of the bunch...really awesome, fast-paced film. Also enjoyed American Gangster - "my man!"

Simpsons was funny, but I left a little disappointed.

I forgot about Bourne and American Gangster. Both were exceptional...with Bourne being the best of the "threequels" this year.
