Floyd is the only one. Mosley has no chance. He's in the midst of a resurgence, but he's not in Pacquiao's league.

Re: Boxing thread

Mayweather would win, too big and his style is alot superior than others with the same kind of counter-punching that have given Manny fits before. Only problem is that Floyd is a massive dick and expects to get more from the purse, so the fight might not happen for a while.

Re: Boxing thread

Well, today was the big fight of Mayweather vs. Mosley. Major ticket sales and PPV sales on the fight. Overall, it was an interesting and pretty exciting fight. Mosley hurt Floyd really badly in the second round with a huge right that landed flush and Floyd just about went down. From that point on, PBF absolutely destroyed Mosley. And people who say Floyd runs, the one running today was Mosley.

So Floyd won by unanimous decision, time for Floyd and Manny to fight, no-one else is on their level.

Re: Boxing thread

cant say Suger Shane ran, Mayweather was just too fast for him in every department and like many when they box him.... they lose any belief or plan they had after 3 or 4 rounds and just get battered and made to look bad for the rest of the night

Re: Boxing thread

i know, right? i missed out on why they didn't do the fight in the first place. do you know why?

i'm excited for it to happen, if it ever does.... i just feel sorry for anyone who gets injured here... a majority of Filipinos are nurses/work in the medical field and call in sick when Manny fights

Re: Boxing thread

yeah the big deal why it didnt happen was over drug testing and Mayweather wanted to make the rules and have Pacman tested before the fight or something. Pacman didnt agree and felt a)it would weaken him and b)Mayweather shouldnt be calling any shots

its well known by now Mayweather and his whole team think Manny is a steroid abuser

There are suspect things around Manny that would link him to that, but it's not anything solid, yet. It is interesting that most of the fighters have actually taken Floyd's side and agree he's on something. It's all speculation right now.

Yes, I agree, I guess what I was trying to say was, Floyd was the aggressive one, not Shane. But yeah, the difference in speed was simply too much for Shane to overcome, also Shane getting tired, and Floyd taking his best punch and still standing.
