The revenge of Copa America... Argentina B squashed Brazil A in basketball

Argentina B qualified for Pekin 2008 !!!

We did not need Manu, Nocioni, Hermann and Oberto..

Nalbandian - JMDP - Djokovic - Nadal - Mathieu - Verdasco - Coria - Tipsarevic - Nieminen - Calleri

And we own them in hockey and rugby. We could continue like that for hours. Now, I just want to celebrate how our B b-ball team sent them back to Rio.

really? I didn't follow the results, but I heard that Argentina was missing some important players, so even more surprising that they won against Brazil. Did Nene and Barbosa suck that much for Brazil or just a very hot day for Argentina as well?

Argentina was missing Ginobili, Nocioni, Hermann and Oberto.

But Scola was on fire during all the tournament.

Nene got injured today at the end of the first quarter and Barbosa did not do anything special.

Many prominent names of course, as long as it still gets the job done it is surely good and I know they are strong as a team and have a lot of guys who can carry a load as role players if needed.

Scola, he can be a force inside if needed on some days and Delfino can also get a hot hand to shoot the ball well (didn't see him with Argentina especially, but from some NBA games).

It just shows how bad the current state of Argentinian football is when Argentines are looking for other sports to celebrate "revenges".

Our horrible coach took Barbosa out in the 3th quarter because he was with 3 faults.
Argentina is better than us in bball, get over it brazilian ppl. Just Manu, Oberto and Nocioni are better than our whole team. We need a lot of work to come close to the level of argentina bball is today.
Nene and Leandrinho are superb players and Splitter has lot of potential
