Nelson Montfort Appreciation Thread

the legend of Nelson Montfort, this man is the epitome of cool and stylish.

He is the French guy who does the RG interviews and I think he speaks Spanish as well as French and English and he is the man.

Also saw the man in Osaka doing some interviews with the athletes in the mix zone. Didn't hear what the man had to say this time around, but he deserves appreciation.

Allez Nelson

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Count me first on the list of those who love that guy. I've met him this year in RG and he was lovely. Just simple, close to ppl, almost shy.

Best of LUCK to ALL my Faves in 2015

Glad to hear that Nelson was pleasant to people who came up to him, it would be good if he came out to Australia.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Nelson has fans and here's one of the numerous encounters. Enjoy how simple the guy remains...and how sincerely he seems to be touched.

I didn't know his name, but I recognize him from the RG interviews. He spoke several languages fluently!

once his question to Michael Johnson was so long, Michael left without answering.

Nelson is a true legend here. He is also a figure skating commentator (with Candeloro), his dad is American and he has a picture of Bill Clinton and himself (from the time Bill went to the Grosjean-Agassi match) in his kitchen.

I met him a few times at RG and here is a pic I took this year
