Re: Michael Vick takes the plea deal after seeing the jury...

I don't know. It seems that USA is more and more unbalanced and strange. From one side their troops decimate people in Iraq ( yesterday an airstrike attack on sleeping persons in Baghdad at night and decimating the insurgents, who fight for their country . And it must be said truly - these sick people make similar war crimes there day in day)and in Afghanistan ( civilians and Afghan illiterates so called Tallibans. And it is presented by their politicians and some war myrmidons for instance cmdr Petroleum( or something alike, who has likely the last and most powerful word in this USA ) as carrying of freedom and democracy in these countries. It is usual war crime. And when a bloke killed a dog ( truly said this kind of dogs as rottweilers, pittbulls are races raised to fights, these dogs are not usual domestic doggies. Besides the fight lies in the nature of dogs. These animals are predators and in wild state they fight each other and hunt for other species of animals ) he must get nothing less than life imprisonment and he must be condemned openly. But wars are not condemned. Illegal decimating of innocent people, destroying of country and life of millions will pass by without echo. It is the country of total mental ill people.

Well, poster has a point. This story has never made sense to me: eight dogs, versus the value added to a community by a ten-million dollar a year salaried Pro Football Quarterback.

Then I recently saw, in a story, "Federal Dogfighting charges." I realized, it's about power. And power corrupts absolutely.

Michael Vick's Falcons (he is Black...):retard: ...beat a certain Texas team, in Texas, when a certain Texan is in the White House.

...it's all about punishment.

There are plenty of people against the Iraq war in this country. Just because the war is going on does not mean we should ignore other crimes and forms of violence in this country though.

I laughed when I saw the cartoon, but I have to agree that there is something out-of-balance with the degree of hysteria this case has produced. People were less outraged over the BTK killer!

Yes, but you don't understand my point of view. Of course, other crimes should be punished too. But these dogs' fights are not such terrible crime that it should be openly condemned and given to public information and to information for the whole world ( maybe it is not crime, it is usual minor offence. These man did not bite dogs. Dogs bit other dogs and it is in the nature of these animals. They are aggressive and that's all. Of course, in my opinion the only way to prevent such minor offences is to ban to raise such aggressive races of dogs. It should be punished. Most of all these kind of agressive dogs are very dangerous, even for owner. There were many accidents that these dogs killed owners ).
And what about war. Most of all American soldiers kill people day in day in the other part of the worlds: in Iraq and Afghanistan ( they killed again 18 civilians in Afghanistan yesterday): civillians, insurgents, it does not matter - both these group of people are inhabitants of own countries and they have right to live and to have their independent countries. And these crimes as occupying wars and killing people ( these crimes are real crimes, not minor offences. It can be called genocide )pass by without echo. And it is the point. It is not normal. Such crimes as killing of people on mass scale pass without response. Could you tell, why should normal people be impressed a fate of an agressive animal like rottweiler or pittbull and to be indifferent on the fate of harmed people? Something is not in order with your society.

He should have done like OJ and got his trial moved to a place where cats would dominate the jury.

So Vick and Paris both found Jesus after getting in trouble with the law? So sweet! I guess just being a law-abiding citizen is what is keeping me mired in my atheism.
