ATM fees

I dunno about you, but I've had enough of these crazy ATM fees, $2 to get money from any ATM that's not in my bank is just way excessive, some places like casinos or night clubs charge more than that.

What can we do?

If you're thinking "Not much" you're not far off, unless you have $2,500 and a Commerce Bank account.

As soon as I saw what they were offering I switch to their bank right away....

If you have more than $2,500 in your checking account they will Refund all the ATM fees you pay in any ATM machine, no matter how much it is...

I thought I'd share this, since it changed my banking habits.

Re: ATM fees

I hate ATM fees. The ones in restaurants charge over 2.00.

You could try not using the machines.

And of course there is a fee. The machine has to be bought, the space has to be rented and real people have to go around and stock the machines. Do you think the bank should provide all that at it's own expense?

One thing I will agree on, the fee should be a % of your withdrawal. The present fixed fee favours the wealthier customers who take out more, and penalizes the people who just need $20 at the supermarket.

PNC does that too

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Yes, because with ATMs, the banks save lots of money on hiring, training and paying salaries for tellers. Plus insurances and benefits.

.
yes, because banks make a lot of money from the money you let them hold for you. which they dont hold, they spend
