Don't feel bad.

I often walk into parts of my home such as walls, benches, doors. Things that have always been there. I'm prone to losing my balance and tripping over my own feet/carpet/nothing from time to time.

Re: who else is clumsy?

At work they joke that they should use me as the official safety tester because I injure myself so often If something around the store is unsafe, I'm SURE to find it

I work in a supermarket and last Wednesday and the Wednesday before I sliced 2 different fingers with a carton cutter. A few months ago I whacked my head into the metal beaming in our storeroom while getting stock off a pallet.. so hard that I felt my brain shake. I had a 2 week headache. So one of the managers taught me how to use the pallet jack so I could pull the pallet out from underneath the metal beam before getting stock off it... so this Monday I rammed the pallet jack into the back of my ankle and it took about 5 layers of skin off and swelled up like a balloon

Re: who else is clumsy?

I just tore my jacket getting up off of a hospital bench. ...My father used to say that I would leave my head behind, if it weren't bolted on...or somesuch.

Before I was twenty-one years and a day old, I had broken five of the six bones that comprise my ambulatory apparatus (all bicycle-riding versus automobile accidents,) and a 'greenstick' fracture of my radius and ulna.

Acquired a scuba diving license as a seventeen-year-old, fortunately I didn't have the money to pursue that hobby, or I'd probably wash up on the shore with a spontaneous pneumothorax, and a speargun fleche through my head, a la Steve Martin.

Re: who else is clumsy?

Aside from regularly stubbing my toe, tripping up on my feet on the way to the stage in school assembly, and once walking into a glass door, I'm hardly clumsy

Re: who else is clumsy?

I am clumsy. If there is something for me to bump into, I'll hit it. I wind up with bruises and don't know how I got them. My clumsiness is due to a heart condition I was born with, it messes with my balance, and it's getting worse the older I get. The last time I rode a bike (and I will never ride one again), I rode it right into a bush on the side of the road, with all the traffic going by.

Re: who else is clumsy?

I have ripped the arm or shoulders of my dresshirts several times at work - there are metalic protectors used to save the wall during moving of furniture, i always rip my shirts on them.

Re: who else is clumsy?

I am not overly clumsy; just a bit. I did manage to fall down the stairs in a crowded Parisian subway station last year. But these stairs were really slippery
