I'm really into pop albums, so can someone please make some suggestions on that one? I prefer non-mainstream pop, but some mainstream is alright too!

similar to CSS, I don't know many things, unfortunately. I've just recently discovered that kind of brasilian music, to be honest. I've heard Fernanda Abreu the other day, and a friend told me she mixes a lot too, and that she is nice. But I only heard like one song or two, so it's not enough to say I know her.

If you like bossa nova, and let's say, slower things, then of course I can tell you a couple. my pleasure.

i don't even know bossa nova, thanks so much.

and yes, i do like slower things. i like most types of music as long as it's good at its genre.

Aside from the usual stuff I listen to (alternative pop/rock), the main pop I listen to is Annie, Goldfrapp, Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Camille and even some dance pop is nice. I'd like to listen to more electro-pop (similar to Annie) if you know of any good bands/singers from that genre.

I'm not really into Christina because she pushes her voice too much in every song (would be okay for a few) and they all end up sounding the same because of it. Her singles are good, but there's no way I could stand an entire album.

Thanks for the contributions everyone!

Sigur Ros and Air definitely in my top 20 bands ever together with the mighty Daft Punk. Get the Justice album i mentioned in this thread if you're into quality dance music.
Noir Desir, shame about what happened with Bertrand (the lead singer) coz they made a really great album with Des Visages Des Figures
