Re: Rogi at Dubai

Roger has a 4-0 record over Robredo and the last 2 matches haven't been close, hopefully he doesn't take him lightly and he will progress.

I hope Pavel beats Zib, and it would be good if Pavel and Roger could meet again, and have a good match.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Rogi at Dubai

I hope the fact that his draw seems to have opened up is not gonna make him lose the intensity. After all it's hard fought win vs Safin.

Go Rogi!

Just a off topic rant...I really don't get it, I hardly see any Rogi fans here who before each of his match confidently claim that Rogi's gonna win for sure...but why are we labelled as "arrogant and worse now as freaks???" Anyway, who cares.

Re: Rogi at Dubai

Any fanbase has their share of fanatics, that can't be denied, but some people see what they want to see and through a few fanatics the rest get a bad name.

Isy, it's like this there are Roddick fans on MTF that I respect (Q and Jackson) the others well no comment. The problem is some people are hypersensitive to the failings of their fave plaYer and take it personally.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Isy I don't care if someone is an arrogant, can't back up their points in a logical manner and doesn't deal with constructive criticism, then for sure I will have fun with them.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I totally agree. Which is why I find it really stupid to group people together and give generalisation critics. If not, one BSRyan is enough to generalise all Andy fans as ignorant, arrogant and ridiculous. But anyway, everybody has their right to give comments. One who can generalise other group of fans as "braindead, freaks, no sense of humour" shows how "open minded" she/he is too. As the Chinese saying goes, this is just "50 steps laughing at 100 steps" (literally translfater hehe )

Well I certainly enjoy your constant arguments/discussion with others in MTF. Some maybe because of the tennis knowledge, and some just for the fun of reading

Re: Rogi at Dubai

Isy, I have had some good names thrown at me, if they are funny then I will laugh, as for constant arguments/discussion that is not true, I don't do it for the fun of it. I am all seriousness here.

Back to the topic Roger needs to maintain his focus and beat "big nose" Robredo and then go on his way to the quarters to help his title defence.

I know you're all serious, but you also have your time of giving sacarstic/funny quotes which is fun to read, that's what I meant, Mr. serious.

hhmm...I think you meant big nose Rogi, right?

Rogi seems to have kicked off his habit of falling to dreams during matches, though still have the habit of switching his mind off while serving for match. But he does seem very focus in matches these days, well, who can afford to anyway? No opponents in mens tennis is any easy feat. One slip off the mind can probably cause the match.

Re: Rogi at Dubai

That's right Isy, it's Mr.Serious to you? Roger should be alright in his match tonight, as long as he wins, actually it would be good for him to win a few matches the hard way, it will come in handy during the clay season.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
