Re: Federer's hit-list!

Nice list stebs , however I agree with some posters that Dubai should be on it as well since Roger has done well there, partly because it's one of his favourite events.

I'm only moderately optimistic about Roger winning MC, and I seriously doubt he'll take RG. He should have a decent shot at Rome and Paris, and more than that on Basel.

The Olympics is of course hard to guess since it is rarely played. I think his chances are slim. Anyway I don't rate that achievement very highly because of its limited historical significance for tennis.

DC? Erm...

Re: Federer's hit-list!

I'm not going to put Dubai on there. It is an event he likes but the only optional event that will be on there is Basel. Dubai is a nice tournament but were he to not have a title there I don't think he'd care that much.

I don't agree about MC and RG! If rafa wasn't in his way he might already have 1 MC and 2 RG!!!

I think you could say, and this is not because I am a blinded fan, that he has a decent shot at MC and RG and a serious shot at rome. As for paris, if he once skips basel it is most than likely he can win it!!! It's easier for him to win paris than, let's say any GS... and he already won 9!!!

As for the olympics 2008, it will depend if he still plays the way he does right now!

Re: Federer's hit-list!

Only 6 to go now. Hopefully by the end of next year that will be down to 4 at the most.

Re: Federer's hit-list!

Federer hasn't gotten rid of any this year and Paris is his only chance to claim a new important crown.

Re: Federer's hit-list!

Federer will knock out either rome or monte carlo next year if he's healthy/not too fatigued.

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers.
