Books on Roger

Who of you has read one of the books on Roger? How did you like them?

I have read the German one "Das Tennisgenie" [The tennisgenius] by Rene Stauffer and it was a real pleasure to read it. You could notice that the writer, a Swiss journalist, follows Rogers career since a very long time. He found the right balance between writing about Rogers playing activity and some looks on his private life.

I have also read "Number one" by Roger Jaunin, but you can't compare it with the other biography which is much more detailled. "Number one" is more like a photo book with a lot of very nice pictures of Roger.

I also bought "Fantastic Federer" by Chris Bowers, but I haven't read it yet.

Re: Books on Roger

Is Fantastic Federer worth buying? I might get it when I'm in Wimby next week...

"He's so charismatic." - Marcos Baghdatis

Re: Books on Roger

I've read Fantastic Federer ... worth buying if you're a Roger fan ... some things in it that I didn't know before. I hesitate to recommend anything as taste is a personal thing (like 30 people are going to a restaurant tomorrow as I've raved over it - and I'm now a nervous wreck in case they don't like it!).

Hi, Suktuen!
I have just ordered < Fantastic Federer> via amazon. fr. I think this is the newest book about Roger.
I have already read < Roger Federer> and <Roger Federer Number One>. These two books are both written by the same french journalist: Roger Jaunin.

I ordered all these books to amazon france. Two books about
Roger that I have already read were written in French. But I
think they are translated into English too.
Amazon france is a french website, but you can search for
books of any languages.
Or, you can also choose the website amazon in English.

I hope I could tell you something useful.
