Roger Lang - Federer Double (?)

The magazine Smash is a worldwide magazine, so maybe some of you might have read it in the April issue. But, maybe it was written only in the Swiss edition...

It is about this 18 year old boy Roger Lang, who looks like Roger Federer. The article says, he appeared in the Gstaad tournament (in which year?) as a linesman, and the audiences were surprised. Not only the audiences but the media. Some newspapers and TV also introduced him as Federer-Double.

But, I had neither heard of him nor seen any pictures of him till I saw this small article and this small picture of him. From this picture, yeah,,, I can see a good resemblance. I am interested in seeing more of his pictures or knowing more about him, who surprised the crowd and media by his resemblance to the tennis superstar.

Does anyone know more about him? more pictures of him?

He plays tennis, has the same first name, is a Swiss, and has a similar looking face. Cool!

Roger, Chiudi, Stan the Man, Michi, Timea, Swiss guys and girls

good luck RF!!

i saw him in Gstaad a few years ago, he wore a red Nike shirt and a white bandana, he also had a ponytail. he's a bit young but he did look like Roger's double.

and his name is also Roger!

Re: Roger Lang - Federer Double (?)

Oh yes Mrs. B I remember him too!! That was in 2003 where he really was dressed up like Roger - wasn't there even a pic of him somewhere when big Roger signed the shirt of mini Roger??
And the recamblance was there I tell you from the distance you really thoght it's the real one. Same outfit, back then the ponytail, the bandana really a good Roger double.

There was also a story about mini Roger (Lang) a year later - when he (mini Roger) climbed the fence of a tennis court in gstaad to play some tennis. People were actually phoning the organisators and telling them off as it can't be that the nr. 1 tennis player has to climb a fance to be able to practice.....

"I think I'll call him..... mini-me"

This is awesome- Roger could be able to train him exclusively on clay, he could become a heavy topspin-hitting grunting claycourt specialist and that way he could win the French Open using Federer's name

A question is if he also has the same voice and can speak good French like Roger does. He will have to talk in front of the media!
