Rafael Nadal - Roger's "Current" Arch Rival

Hiya all,

My first new thread here, and when I read an article saying that Rafael Nadal is Roger Federer's arch rival, I just had to start a thread about it.

I haven't watched tennis for very long, but I started when Roger first won Wimbledon in 2003. Over the few years that I've watched tennis, I do believe that Roger has broken many records, and on his way to breaking more. And also, that he's the benchmark player. There were his other rivals, such as Roddick, Safin and Hewitt trying to match his level, but now they are hardly his rivals. I don't dislike those players, I just love Roger more .

Now a new kid comes along. Okay, he's got a 3-1 H2H against Roger, but that will just give Roger a greater reason to raise his game and be even better. So, Nadal is now currently Roger's rival, and might be here to stay, but not to worry, the Federer Express is also here to stay!
