Re: Let's talk about Martina Hingis!

I'll be honest.. I never was a Hingis fan. Too spoilt and too petulant when she was growing up and dominating the women's tour for awhile and then I thought some of her behaviour when the Williams' came along was a little bitchy (though to be fair neither parties behaved well!)

She does seem to have matured and she does play a different game. I followed more WTA tennis at the AO because of her than I have of any WTA event for a long time. She definitely has my support now and I hope she wins the French. WB Martina . Now go complete your career slam!

Please see here if interested in downloading tennis matches.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not a Rafa hater. I am, however, a RAFATARD hater and therefore take endless delight in each Rafa loss as it allows me to sock it hard to his tards. Do try and understand the difference (TARDS)! Don't get me started on Choke-ovic though. Him I do despise. And his TARDS are the lowest of the low .

Re: Let's talk about Martina Hingis!

congrats to Martina, also hope that Bhupathi can complete Mahesh Slam of Mixed Doubles : (He won all 4 kinds of Slam but not in straight)

Wimbledon 2005 (w/ Mary Pierce) ->
US Open 2005 (w/ Daniela Hantuchova) ->
Australian Open 2006 (w/ Martina Hingis) -> Roland Garros 2006 ?

Bhupathi will complete Mahesh Slam of Mixed Doubles in Roland Garros 2006

Federer will complete Roger Slam of Mens Singles in Roland Garros 2006

I have to agree with you on that she used to be very bitchy. I think her comments towords Amelie in 1999 was the worse of her bitchy behaviour on that time and I do think Amelie was deeply hurt on that. However, she did say some positive things on Amelie win on Aus Open recently so it seem in the end that she has matured.

I totally agree with on that too. It seems she using more power than she used to be but still has the touch at the net and the finesse that she was. Anyway, I think this season could be a very exciting season for women's tennis.

Go go British tennis go.

Congrats on the grand slam doubles title, Martina.

You're less optimistic than Sharapova She said that Martina will be soon in top 10.
