Thanks I like them both for different reasons but I find it so difficult sometimes to be a fan of both. I guess I can relate to fans of both Roddick and Fed

Celebrate what? Roger hasn't played since Wimbledon so there hasn't been anything for Fed fans to celebrate. I don't understand why there has to be all this tension around Roger and Rafa. They're both very good players, they've both done very well this year and I think they're both good for the sport. But it seems like around here to praise one the other has to be put down or knocked. There are Fed fans who don't like to see Rafa doing well so they knock his play or come up with excuses for his wins, and there are Rafa fans (or those who don't like Fed) who just can't wait for him to knock Fed from the #1 spot and so ever match he wins the have to gloat about it.

Well, may be my English is not good enough. I mean wait till Roger wins Cinci and/or USO, then you can celebrate. Just today I bumped into someone's statement- " Roger is the king". Sounds a bit ridiculous to me as the gap between 1 and 2 in the race is about 100 miserable points.

As for the tension, it's always there between fans of number 1 and 2.

Oh well, I cant wait to see Rogi back in action, I miss him a lot which is weird because I dont really know the man
Problem is there are some here who get annoyed with certain Fed fans and then post stuff just to get a rise out of them, and it usually happens whenever Rafa is involved. I wish Fed fans wouldn't take the bait and get so defensive and protective of him, because that only makes it worse. Sometimes it's obvious (to me at least) when people are trying to take the piss out of Fed fans. And some usually happily oblige. Face it, there are a lot of Nadal fans here, and they love that he's so dominant, love that he's playing well on hc, and love that he's closing in on Roger. And I'm sure they'd love nothing more than to see Nadal #1 at the end of the year. Just like I'm sure there are some Fed fans who are hoping he doesn't do well and Roger does, so Roger can remain #1.

Ljubicic in the same section!! I don't want to remember how hard it was to beat him this early year on hard coart (3 times, though...)

Tough draw as always. But he always survived tough draws, so I hope he plays well outthere. Good luck, Roger!!!

Roger, Chiudi, Stan the Man, Michi, Timea, Swiss guys and girls

good luck RF!!

I guess the matches before the final are best of 3, like the other Master Series tournaments. I don't know about the final...

Re: ********CINCINNATI MS*********

If he's fit to play, he should find his way through this draw. No teens in his section, lol. Kiefer can present some problems, and in form Ivan as well. We'll see.
The matches are best of 3.

Perhaps Luby is not quite the player he was earlier in the year?? But I also think James Blake could be a stern test in the 1st round after Rog not having played for quite a while - but I'm sure he'll come through it.

There will not be any easy match for Roger. But, Roger has certainly some better abilities to beat the opponents he faces than the opponents do against Roger.

We hope for Roger and will see how he does.

If Rafa dominates, they are going to end up hating him too anyway. This is how it works. Anyway, Good luck to Roger in Cincinnatti.
