I hope you are right. But isn't it somehow frightening, that the only option we talk about (in whatever tourney Roger plays) is winning it?

It is .... weird. For us, if he falls short of winning it, its so disappointing. But, those are the standards he has set for us.

I really prefer that he loses early than deep in the draw. I have had two big letdowns this year-- I mean, for days after the AO I was in what must be mild depression. For the FO, it was better because it wasn't so close, but it still rankled me.

For me it was opposite, but for the same reasons, however, this is history . I am looking forward and rather annoyed not to find any information about when the Cincy-draw will be out. Can anyone help?

Re: ********CINCINNATI MS*********

As long as he wins NYC, this is just a warmup. Hard to tell how seriously he's taking it, since he usually arrives by Tues. to get acclimated in places he wants to win. If he doesn't get to Cincy til Th. or Fri, that's barely time to get over jet lag & who knows how much he's played since his layoff. So, my take is No Worries, just let him get back into form for NYC. If he wins, it's a bonus. Of course, it goes w/out saying, that I'd rather...

Does anyone know if he got in his scheduled pre-hardcourt work w/Tony, or if that had to be cancelled?

well I have to say I prefer to think he will win that start to get depress before.
So I put my enegery in YES HE will win.
But this time, as last year he lost in first round.. I hope hell be better.
I know he was getting into form in switzerland at least last week( guess he got 4 weeks of rest after wimbly???)=
But lets wait and see.
I think hell go to NYC right after cincy and he will train with Roche.
He said somewhere I cannot recall where... that he will work with Tony Before USOpen but Roche will not be with him during the tournament...
Anyway...
Anyone from Cincy? News??
So sad Puerta could not even take a set to Rafa. But I think its the first time he plays hard courts this year... if Im ok...Only Gaudio alive from my country... and Andre...
Will Paul Henri face Rafa now??? Will be a great match to see!
see you guys

I think I will be camping out here and over at Mathieus board for the next few days. Oh well, I cant wait to see Rogi back in action, I miss him a lot which is weird because I dont really know the man

To be honest, there are some Fed's fans that can put anybody off. Some crazy girls think that they should bring Fed's name into an every thread, it's annoying. The others try to play down Nadal's achievements. It's stupid to say the least. Ugly or pretty, it's obvious that he can play on hc. And don't forget that Roger's game matches up badly with Nadal's. So it'd be smart to sit tight, shut up for a while and wait till your man delivers on hc this summer. Then you are free to celebrate.
