That was the beginning of all eh? A champion was born that day.- A champion that his contemporaries are calling a living legend.

how young Roger looks in this.... Being a huge fan of Pete's also, I watch this with such mixed emotions

Rogi was such an innocent then... so sweet and young at 19... I remember him crying when he sat down... I just love to see Rogi crying for joy at Wimby! Let's hope he does it again this year!

I also saw an interview w him after the upset... one of the first times I ever heard him speak English -- I was impressed! Still am...

Hopp Rogi! Go Gonzo! Allez Gasquet!

"Pero para mí el mejor es Roger Federer. / For me, the best is Roger Federer." - D. Nalbandian

"He's so charismatic." - Marcos Baghdatis

Re: *******WIMBLEDON 2005********

I am sooooo hopeful for a fantastic Wimbledon 2005 for Roger, ending with his holding up the Trophy. The last two GS he has come sooo close.... I really want to see him win this, very badly. And I have 100% belief that he will do it! GO ROGER!!!
