all true in the grand scheme of things, but in the last 3 tournaments, Nadal has been playing aggressive tennis. He even lost a lot of the longer rallies w/ Kohlschreiber. He's been looking to shorten the points -- and he had all that time off to hone such a game (whereas Fed has been trying to be more aggressive, but it often results in UEs or bad decisions). Lately, Nadal wasn't running away from long rallies, but he wasn't looking for them, either.
No there were loads of double-digit rallies in the match & Djoker couldn't hit through Nadal except by hitting absolutely monstrous low-percentage winners.
