Welp, guess Roger isn't going to be able to defend those Olympics points from last year

He needs more Matches to be comfortable with his new Racket. I'm not nervous right now. On the other side, Delbonis played really well.

seems like Roger's new job on the tour is to make everyone else look great, put to rest the weak era argument.

Delbonis couldn't miss today, but let's see if that continues.

I just don't even know what to say about this match.

Roger Federer * Greatest Of All Time

If I weren't feeling so lousy, that'd be funny

Re: Hamburgers and Frankfurters for Roger: THE HAMBURG THREAD: Def Mayer 7-6 (4) 3-6

You have to give credit to Delbonis ,the guy has had a incredible tournament and everything he hit went in , the thing that pisses me off is that these lesser know players play their best tennis against Roger . i hope he does something with this win and isn't added to the list of players who beat the big four then flop next match .
Anyways besides the loss , Roger showed good signs with the new racquet , i think he should keep it for Gstaad , Yes he shanked a lot but you have to adjust to a new racquet . still pissed off at the loss but there are positives to take out of it.
Onto Gstaad now.

I think there is no need to panic, 1st tourny with new racket, on his least favourite surface etc. Delbonis played very well, but if Roger lost to someone like this at say Cinci, prob one of his best surfaces, that may be the time to start panicking

Let's see was the next Mounths brings. He should give his new Racket time till the WT Finals.
Credit to Delbonis, he got it done in the end.

I don't care about what Delbonis does, I'm just nervous about Roger's performance... I think he should keep using this racquet despite this loss.

Federer

Del Potro

Gasquet

Berdych, Janowicz, Monaco, Tomic, Brands, Hewitt

The good thing is that I like this "before-USOseries" Roger.
I hope we can get him in Hamburg for the future years.
Yeah, I still hope he will play more years.
