Viruzz.. even I am getting a bit pissed off at how much trouble virtual scrubs are given Rog now

This is the problem with the bigger guys , they can be ranked 1 in the world, 200 in the world but if they have a day where everything goes in they can beat anyone.
Rosol?
Delbonis so far?

Look Duck, I don't know who you are, if you're a troll or whatever, but the FedForum isn't your classic MTF.
Here we threat everyone with respect, and insulting a player that way isn't exactly respect.
Delbonis is a really talented player with a lot of personal problems, he'd have been top 50 for a long time if he could play his best tennis more often.
And it seems he's doing that.

I think Roger will manage to win this and turn this around. But i'm not exactly glad watching people insulting a player I respect here. I'm not in GM and I don't go to GM for that reason.

Ah, appeal moderation? Wanna know what appeal moderation did to me?

Not troll and that was not an insult, but fact is that Roger is just a shadow of his former self. There was nothing wrong what i said.

Well, you're also wrong then.
I know it's difficult to not-watch the match with passion and wanting Fed to win so badly, but watching that first set again would be a good thing to reconsider to call Delbonis a virtual scrub.
But whatevs, I won't tell you what to do.

Duckroger isn't a troll, and tbh, he's just expressing what I'm sure many of us here think. Heck, i said pretty much the same thing about Flo Mayer yesterday, I was so upset about the trouble Rog was having with someone who'd never even managed to take a set off him in a gazillion meetings. We know matches v the top 20 or top 30 are going to be hard... you just don't expect this constant having to stave off defeat with players 40 and below

Well said , People have a habit of insulting players when their favourite is losing when the opponent is trying to win just as much as their favourite is the point is Delbonis has the game of a top 50 player but he is still only 22 and like a lot of players who have potential they lack consistency to perform at this level all year . It is frustrating when they play their best tennis against Roger i.e Mayer yesterday but we have to accept it and not lower ourselfs like the people at GM do and insult the players.

What is even more infuriating is that these whatever-tiered players you want to call them, win the game and then you don't hear diddly-squat from them for the next millenium

Well, I personally think (only watching yesterday's match on youtube) that Fed's playing a little better.
Not exactly good as last year in this part of the year, or even in this year's AO, but better than Rotterdam, and some other matches.
Now, if so many people think Delbonis is that bad of a player, I recommend them to watch the match. The guy's giving a great fight and playing good tennis.
He'd be troubling any other player.
