Thanks everybody! I will have internet on my phone, I may post also during the match.
Maybe Verdasco woulda been a better opponent to watch, but I've already seen him in Vienna once. So instead of JJ another tall young guy for Roger, I hope he beats him in 2
I also hoped to see Haas but I have to be satisfied with the King Especially after this horror match!

Really? it must of been cramps from the cold weather hence why he put the sweater on because i didn't see any time during the match where he could've tweaked it . but he still was moving fine and his ball striking was still not affected .sounds to me like cramps , if that's the case , some good stretching and keeping his back warm will do the trick.

This back issue is getting tiring. Poor Roger, can't play 5 matches in a row without it flaring up. Don't think he'll be able to manage it, it's getting worse and worse.
Wonder if he's ever looked at acupuncture as an option?

Even if the back did flare up I don't think he played that bad in the 2nd set. But certainly better in the 1st and 3rd.

I didn't see any back pull ups so im guessing cramps .his shots and movement were still great so it can't be serious.
They haven't put tomorrows times up but i'm guessing Roger will play last of the 2 semis .

It is up. When I go to the ATP website to the schedule part, it only shows Friday but you have a box on the top saying "PRINTABLE SCHEDULE". If you click on that you get the Saturday's schedule. This has happened in other days as well.

Here is one of the instances:

Strange that while he looked much worse against Wawrinka in IW (arm serving and not bending at all to receive) he never did this.

One can also clearly see that the service motion wasn't as usual:

Couldn't see the match, but very happy he won! Back issues again? Hopefully the next match shouldn't be a big deal.

Good luck Roger!

all that work to not sit, only to kick the racquet over and have to bend down to pick it up.

Lower-back cramped up on him, as clear as daylight.

Did this really happen?!
Well, having just read all the comments from you all on here (10 pages - knew it had to be a bad match), I was certainly reading back problems into it. Just hoping he'll be fit to play okay tomorrow. And also wondering whether the cinema last night was a good idea for the back.

And I shall have to be tomorrow, too. *Really* hope he's fit - I certainly don't want him to lose to Delbonis.
