Personal thoughts:
Federer is again in QF and he won over a tricky oponnent who so many people feara lot.
He played in the exact way he should against this type of oponnent. He's looking very sharp.

He still didn't lose serve, and he never faced a break point this match.
The match wasn't a great tennis display, but it had some good points and, of course, great tactics by Roger to win over Milos.

Next's Tsonga, who won over Gasquet in a pretty poor match.
Tsonga is looking pretty sharp, but he didn't do any BIG things to win this match, Gasquet was playing pretty bad, I still don't understand how Tsonga lost that set.

35 consecutive QFs - and that's it! Connor's record is gone. I believe that's QF number 39 for Roger. Connors has the record of 41.

Federer - Emperor of the Slams, King of Hard, Lord of the Australian Open, Lord of Wimbledon.

BTW: First straight-set win over Raonic. And he's still unbeaten over players born in the 90s, this will continue until the end of the tournament, just because there are no more players born in the 90s in the draw.

Breaks in 2/3 sets - Check
Very quick and not taxing on *body* the match - Check
GOAT - Check
Tsonga at night (hopefully) - Check
10th consecutive SF down under - To be checked.

Interesting - something to keep in Mind. Connors has the record in terms of duration - 10 years from 1973 to 1983 without a defeat in the slams prior to the QFs. Federer's now at 9, despite not missing any slams.

Federer - Emperor of the Slams, King of Hard, Lord of the Australian Open, Lord of Wimbledon.
