I hope Stand didn't say it but if he did it I don't like the way. Why not to speak privately with Roger and clear all. Considering that in the Olympics they lost because of night entertainment of Wawrinka.
I had another version on a French website : Stan said "I don't understand why he doesn't want to play against the Czechs", and Keller, vice-president of Swiss Federation, said the second part : that Fed usually plans 2 years in advance except for the Davis cup. Didn't read "it's not nice".
That version was different from what tennisworld says and less bothering about Stan.
But well anyway I understand them.
But what I don't understand is that everybody seems to think that he will really not come whereas when Fed had first said it, I had understood "I'm not sure yet, and don't choose the place according to me" ... the same as usual in my eyes, he always says that : what's different this time which lets everybody think that for sure he will not come ?
In case he doesn't come, yes I would be surprised too and would surely understand Stan and Swiss Federation's disappointment (but if what's not fair in their eyes is that he always decides in last minute, they might get a good news : he might say he will not play it anymore, in that case would they be happy ?
But if Keller, the vice-president of the Swiss Federation really tells the media "Wawrinka told me that about Fed and said he's not nice", this guy is completely dumb or only cares about himself, because that's what the fucking media (like tennisworld) want and it will do nothing good for Swiss team. In none of the versions anyway Stan did say publicly those things then don't accuse Stan : it seems that this Keller guy has the crucial role in that case.
Maybe Doris (or Chaz because it seems the initial source is the article Chaz quoted above) who has access to Swiss German speaking media and first said that Fed had said that "his chances were low" will be able to explain all thse things better.
In the Swiss French speaking media I didn't read anything about that.
