Skype discussion-table after Wimbledon matches

Hello. I came here with an idea.
Wimbledon is coming, a big slam, and the FedForum is pretty active compared to last year (Well... Or that's what I think so).

We are all with our hearts in Wimbledon, cheering for Roger right now.
And, I think a big amount of users would be able to watch Wimbledon's matches.
So... Why not making a Skype Discussion-table after those matches?

I think we all here have skype (and if someone doesn't, he/she can download it free from the internet, it's a free program).

So... Why not making a discussion table after the matches? Come on! It would be fun and amazing to have a live-discuss chat device with some of us.
And it's all for free, god bless the internet.

Tell me what you think

Re: Skype discussion-table after Wimbledon matches

Not a bad idea but I would rather have it for during the match. I'm not too keen on the way Live Commentaries work on MTF (having to refresh, etc.) so it would be much easier to follow during the match using skype.

I'm assuming most people would barely have anything to say after the match anyway.

Re: Skype discussion-table after Wimbledon matches

I don't really use Skype, does it require a webcam? Because I don't have one But I agree with Midnight Ninja it would be good to have during a match to avoid constant refreshing

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Sφderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

You could use a webcam as well as you could use a microphone.
But I meant skype as a chat-device.
Of course, if everything's right we could use the microphone, but during the match it'd be kinda bad, because of the delay of the match.

Re: Skype discussion-table after Wimbledon matches

I'm up for it. In fact, I'd create a separate chat group called MTF on my account . For those not acquainted with Skype, it's easy to use and can be used as a pure chat programme, voice or voice and video. A bit like MSN.

Yeah, it's annoying having to refresh the thread.
I'd be down for the chat group .

Yup, I'll be down for it if I'm here for the matches. Found a job so Wimbledon might get the axe again this year .

I'm in if it's just text chat that we use! I get nervous during matches so like to type to people and tweet during.

Good idea but I usually watch the matches on the TV and don't use the PC, so I would be offline .

Same goes for me, but not all the time, depends on if I can use the TV in my house and if Fed's match is broadcasted.

Federer |Sφderling |most of the Germans

I also like: Wawrinka | Tsonga | Dimitrov | Isner | Gulbis |

Warm regards: 6-3 6-0 / 6-3 6-4

Re: Skype discussion-table after Wimbledon matches

I have the pay per view and I can see all big tournament matches of RF, expetially Wimbledon. Sky gives us 6 channels. The problem are the earlier rounds of the oter slams on Eurosposrt ( The worst tv channel) If he plays in a 250 maybe I have to watch the 1at round on the streaming.
