He should play one match at a time. You don't even know if Nadal is going to be in the final. Maybe it will be Andy Murray. Or Carlos Berlocq

If Berlocq is in the final, even Prime Fed is roasted.

yeah...
I never thought I'd see the day when I found myself concluding that Djokotrolls are indeed worse than Rafatards (for the lurkers out here: I do not mean the genuine, knowledgeable, sensible Djoko- or Rafa-FANS ), but yeah, they are.

It's quite simple: 16 > 10 (okay, upcoming 11 on the block I think ) >>> 5.
Enough said.

I sense that a lot of folks over here at the Fed forum would like to see Djoko winning over Rafa. I cannot help but gracefully disagree on that.
There is something seriously *wrong* in the current state of tennis if a 16- and a 10-fold GS champion couldn't have managed the 4-in-a-row-GS, whereas a 5-times champion does.

Just my opinion.

If either Roger or Rafa fail to get to this RG final, I'd really appreciate it if SOMEONE ELSE than Djoko gets the title. Sorry, just my honest feeling.

Re: Should Federer aim for just a semi-final at the French Open?

Fed won't give up easily on a GS when he's 1-2 matches away from the title. So the answer is (whatever we might like to speculate on) NO.

WTF tank a match when you're 2 wins away from the title?

Personally I'd rather the Swede got to keep his record. Someone else, if it's not going to be Fed, someone else other than Nadal or Djokovic. Please.
