Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

According to Ralf Weber, tournament director of the Gerry Weber Open in Halle, Roger said to him in London that he wants to play the tournament in 2012 in order to make up for not playing there this year.

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

really should not play Madrid in 2012

if you look at it he should save his energy for Roma after Nole and Nadal have killed each other the weeks before in M.Carlo and Madrid

m.carlo then rome is what he should do

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

Now it says he'll also play Dubai.
Rotterdam and Dubai... I think he's gonna win the first one, and just make more points during the second one.
I'm happy with that. I hope he plays Monte-Carlo.

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

Fed messed up something really badly . This schedule is more full than when he was 20 . Abu Dhabi, Doha, AO, DC, Rotterdam, Dubai or maybe he plans go out early

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

It would not surprise me if he skipped Toronto. The schedule is packed from early May to early September. I wouldn't even be shocked if he skipped Cincinnati too, especially if he plays a lot of matches during that stretch. Lots of other guys will be taking a breather before the US Open too. Skipping Miami would also open up a longer training/recuperation break before the clay season.

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

Pretty sure he'll skip a few of those... hopefully it won't be Rotterdam.

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

he will skip - if he's winning or reaching finals and losing energy.. thats how it works

on the other hand maybe he wants to play alot to build up another chase at #1 rankings

Re: Roger Federer's 2012 Schedule

Dubai probably offered him $10,000,000 to play there

Nadull gets 50,000 now
