Re: How global is Roger?

USA.

Originally from India. Started following tennis from 1985 Wimbledon. Edberg was my first favorite. Became a fan of Roger after Wim 03 SF (first time I saw him play, needless to say I was amazed).

you're kidding me! my parents in law live there --closer to berne than basel

its a true village, with cows roaming and the smell of cowdung in the air, and sounds of cowbells in the air as well

hi mitalidas, sorry for my unknown, but "ortschwaben" sounds very german, because "schwaben" is the nickname we call germans !

Roger is quite global. And that's simply amazing. From Asia, Europe. North America.... he has faithful fans from all the corners of the world.

Some of them may not speak English or German to communicate with him or other fans outside their countries, but they know the language of tennis. They know his style and his personality, the style we've all discovered day by day.... The Roger we've come to appreciate and follow all year long....

I'm genuinely happy for him. He's giving wonderful things to this sport. He's a true blessing.
