It's obvious where Micha's strength lies, but when his first serve isn't cooking, it's hard to get up there:

Danger, DANGER!

Michel throws his racquet after not being able to convert and break Ferreira for the third set.

What a difference a game makes. I think he knew he was going to lose after he dropped serve, going down 5-6. I took one look at this picture and decided he was going to lose, at least

OOPS!

A bit out of sequence, but cute nonetheless Now you can compare his demeanor between leading 4-3 and being down 5-6.

No match summary as with the other matches, so I looked it up myself:

Set 1 Summary Kratochvil(SUI)/// Ferreira(RSA)

1st Serve %: 10 of 26 = 38% /// 16 of 23 = 70%
Aces/Double Faults: 0/1 /// 2/1
Winners/Unforced Errors: 4/9 /// 12/8
Winning % on 1st Serve: 5 of 10 = 50% /// 13 of 16 = 81%
Winning % on 2nd Serve: 7 of 16 = 44% /// 3 of 7 = 43%
Break Point Conversions: 0 of 0 = 0% /// 2 of 7 = 29%
Net Approaches: 7 of 7 = 100% /// 4 of 6 = 67%
Total Points Won: 19 /// 30

Set 2 Summary Kratochvil(SUI) /// Ferreira(RSA)

1st Serve %: 17 of 34 = 50% /// 18 of 32 = 56%
Aces/Double Faults: 0/0 /// 4/0
Winners/Unforced Errors: 6/14 /// 11/6
Winning % on 1st Serve: 9 of 17 = 53% /// 15 of 18 = 83%
Winning % on 2nd Serve: 8 of 17 = 47% /// 7 of 14 = 50%
Break Point Conversions: 0 of 5 = 0% /// 2 of 6 = 33%
Net Approaches: 11 of 13 = 85% // 9 of 12 = 75%
Total Points Won: 27 /// 39

Set 3 Summary Kratochvil(SUI) /// Ferreira(RSA)

1st Serve %: 23 of 40 = 57% /// 21 of 36 = 58%
Aces/Double Faults: 1/2 /// 2/2
Winners/Unforced Errors: 6/13 /// 14/22
Winning % on 1st Serve: 15 of 23 = 65% /// 15 of 21 = 71%
Winning % on 2nd Serve: 8 of 17 = 47% /// 8 of 15 = 53%
Break Point Conversions 1 of 3 = 33 % 2 of 5 = 40 %
Net Approaches: 5 of 13 = 38% /// 8 of 14 = 57%
Total Points Won: 36 /// 40

A dead giveaway of his lost confidence is his sudden loss of the
ability to volley. He volleys very, very well, and when he starts
to doubt part of his game, his serve and his volleys are the first
to go

Match Summary Kratochvil(SUI) /// Ferreira(RSA)

1st Serve % 50 of 100 = 50% /// 55 of 91 = 60%
Aces/Double Faults 1/3 /// 8/3
Winners/Unforced Errors: 16/36 /// 37/36
Winning % on 1st Serve: 29 of 50 = 58% /// 43 of 55 = 78%
Winning % on 2nd Serve: 23 of 50 = 46% /// 18 of 36 = 50%
Break Point Conversions: 1 of 8 = 13% /// 6 of 18 = 33%
Net Approaches: 23 of 33 = 70% /// 21 of 32 = 66%
Total Points Won: 82 /// 109

Hey Hackie!

Just wondering if you were going to change the name of this thread to the "Swissies" or sth...

Well, I like the title of the thread as it stands, it sounds very formal and nice And if new people wander in, they'll know exactly what this thread is about

But I'll probably refer to them as Swissies forever more, LOL!

Kratochvil separates from his coach Fersch.

I need somebody who is able to accompany me during the year. with Fersch that was no longer possible due to family and business reasons of his part.

He'll need his time to look for a new coach but thinks that till Key Biscane he'll be able to anounce his new coach.
