Thumbs up *****"It's ROGER(')S Cup!! literally and figuratively" TORONTO 10 Thread*****

Although there is still one week left before the tournament is going to start I thought to open a thread for it already.

I used the same title as Robinhood when s/he started the thread for this tournament in 2006. I'm sure you all remember how it ended

I'm looking forward to see Roger back on the court and it has to be seen whether we can recognize first signs of his work with Annacone

Thanks for the thread Hoping for a good showing (and a good draw )!

Tsonga isn't playing, so there's no way Roger can lose to him from 5-1 up this year

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

I am somehow scary and afraid of this US HC season . I really want to see Roger winning some of this 3 tournaments but I am somehow suspicious . I just want to see one more time Jesus Fed for a longer period , not in one or two matches but I am near of non-believing anymore . All the best Rog and now it's time to show some passion

same here... i'm almost a non-believer after seeing the strings of bad losses ever since AO...

i hope he can still salvage this season... at least end the year as #2 then i'll start to believe he has chance to get back to #1 and break that @#$%-ing most #1 record (and not made my countdown thread looked so ridiculous) by wimbledon 2011... afterall nadal can't gain any more points in the clay/grass season (other than queens) 2011... and federer could gain a truck load of points if he finds back his form and start the clay season 2011 with a good number of points...

regards,
wacky

I'm not expecting too much from Roger right now, he's gonna be little rusty maybe after the layoff and probably have to work out the kinks with Annacone. But...

I really miss seeing Rog on court, just want him to get in some decent matches @ Toronto, I can wait for JesusFed to show up at US Open no prob.

I'm not expecting much either.
A good semifinal or quarterfinal showing will be good for me. A final or a title will be a bonus

I can and can't agree with you . I want to see Roger on the court but this non-playing period is great relaxation for my nerves . In can't watch his his matches in peace and without nerving , and when Federror is in town my nerves have a problem . The most beautiful thing in tennis for me is to watch Jesus Fed , on the other side the most painful thing is watch Federror
