well, it would be Nadal's "recent type" -- before 2009 he used to be sleeveless. Roger wore uncollared shirts quite often in 2005/2006, so I don't mind it, I like variety.

Re: Roger will be ..

Love this grey collarless shirt, makes an interesting change. Not sure it'll look great on court since I'm unsure whether grey would really work but just in the pictures in this thread I think it's a nice shirt in itself. Hopefully it'll work well oncourt too!

Also love that it's collarless, firstly it's good to change his shirt designs up a bit but also his shirts from sort of 2004 through 2006 had most of my favourite ever shirts for him & they were mostly collarless, love it if he's sort of returning to collarless, at least now & then anyway. Adored that collarless blue shirt he wore in some of his doubles matches with Stan at IW.

His shirt is wonderful. Love it!

Go Fed!

"He’s probably the most talented person to ever carry a racquet around—the shots that he can come up with, the way he’s kind of become a totally complete player. But I think off the court, it’s huge. There have been a lot of good champions, but he’s just classy. He is never high and mighty in the locker room or anything like that. — Andy Roddick about Federer.

Yeah, I have some doubts about that tee being the 'right' move as well...

Love the icon

He may not wear it, I remember last season there was a teeshirt with outlined images of him winning slams on it but he never wore it, they just sold it

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

I hope he wears it. I'd buy it but only if they sell a women's version too. The men's t-shirts are too boxy. I guess I don't see what's wrong with it.

Re: Roger will be ..

I don't see anything wrong with the shirt either. I like how it lists those nicknames for him and then ends with just "Roger" -- like you're stripping away all the flowery titles to get to the root.

He didn't give himself those nicknames, y'know... but he accepts them, doesn't shy away and try to deflect the pressure off himself. Some people call it arrogance, but I see it as a quiet confidence.

It's a matter of taste I presume...
I would consider buying the tee if it had had some of the more quirky nicks of his on it as well. 'Wogie Mc Fed' or something the like.
And yes, very often they only release those tees in men's sizes - quite a shame from the marketing side of things, not to say rightout stupid!

Perhaps they'll release it in boy's sizes. Most usually I buy the tees I like in boy's size 'L'. Fits perfectly.

Glad to see the collars gone for a while btw.

I have a 'Roger That' nike t-shirt that they made especially for women. Love it. They need to do more of those. On the whole I have to imagine women like watching men's tennis more than they do women's.
