The problem with Roger is that because he hasn't played for while his returning is subpar - really makes breaking difficult.

Re: °o.O* Rogers Cup: Montreal 2009 / QF vs. Tsonga - HOPP! *O.o°

Hmmm, yeah, it really isn't a big deal if Federer wins or loses this. I have a bad feeling about a semifinal against Murray anyways, and it almost better to not lose to Murray. Wouldnt want Federer getting a weird mental thing about facing Murray like he does with Nadal.

With that said, though, as I write this, Federer lost the first set, but has actually won 54% of the points. That indicates that a comeback is likely, for better or for worse.

EDIT: By the way, sub-50% first serve %. He needs to better that if he wants to come back.

Don't buy that. He had a lot of trouble returning Roddick's serve in the Wimbly final. His returning has been shit in general.

Need ideas for a new signature...

Don't wanna jinx it, but I don't see Tsonga breaking back. It SHOULD go to a 3rd set, at which point, I wouldn't bet against Fed.

After the first set, I had to get away from the match~~went outside and picked out leaves from my little rock garden~~~~~~Then when I came back~~Roger is leading 3-0.

I see the "I don't want to be here" shot selection from Fed.

I saw the inside out forehand that was reminicent of the one he hit against Haas in the 3rd set in the FO to save his ass when he was facing virtual MP.

The long break probably hasn't helped his return but yeah generally his returning has been pretty poor for a while already.

Well, it's not a bad return.... It's just very bad when he's rusty...

Against Roddick... Roddick simply served REALLY REALLY well.
