He's not been in this spot, since 2003. That's how long he's been behind Nadal, losses at the SF,F,F,F and now the road is finally clear. Patience pays off!
He did say in a tiny BBC interview a few weeks ago that he (& he said other players were too) was ready to take advantage if Rafa ever slipped up at RG. So I am confident he is prepared to play in RG with the knowledge that Rafa is not a potential opponent down the line but I do hope he doesn't get carried away, thinking ahead of what may be. He needs to concentrate on his next amtch only & not think about finals or winning, act as if Rafa were still in the draw & nothing has changed from that. Hopefully he won't act like RG is already won because Rafa isn't about.
